Ultimately, selling homes is all about customer care and we are absolutely determined that every single person who sells their home through Stevens & Co has the best experience.  That’s why we have introduced the Free Van on Moving Day initiative. We know that this extra simple offer really helps our customers – whether they were moving on their own or even if they had instructed a delivery company to handle the move – a free use of a van on the actual moving day makes the whole process that much more manageable!

Of course, the Free Van service is just one offer in our portfolio of unexpected innovative extras that our customers will experience. We now offer, as standard, a house cleaning service (the choice of having their old house, or the new one they are moving into, professionally cleaned). Once the move is over and done with, we also arrange a ‘dinner on us’ (a takeaway meal of their choice). This year our home presentation advice and our gardening service have been very popular which means that not only the house has the potential to sell more quickly but also the garden is neat and tidy when the viewers arrive.

We have also created a newsletter for the community we’re based in. We’ve worked with our retailer neighbours and business leaders to create a forum of news and information for the local community. The response has been fantastic, not just from fellow businesses who have flocked to provide us with stories, but also from the residents themselves who feel that it has provided them with a voice and focal point for their views on where they live.
